H864: Celtic Identity and the Ancient Diaspora in Splash Spring 2022 (Apr. 16 - Oct. 29, 2022)
In this course, students can expect to learn more about the broader sense of what can be called "celtic," discovering the large range of lands on which people in this loose group once lived and the aspects that bound them together - and, ultimately, their fate. Some modern areas we will be looking at with a historical lense include: Spain, Turkey, Ireland, England, and several others.

H787: Sparta: The Humble City Empire in Splash Fall 2021 (Oct. 30, 2021)
We aim to walk you through the origins, mythology, and history of the famous city of Sparta, home of the legendary King Leonidas and the 300 who went and made a last stand at Thermopylae (which inspired the movie 300). We hope you'll not only enjoy the history and unique culture of the spartans, but will be even more impressed by their legacy and the impact they still have on the modern world when it comes to the image of the helmed spartan warrior.

H704: Foundation Myths of Rome in Splash Spring 2021 (Mar. 13, 2021)
The presentation will discuss Rome's origins dating back to Trojan Aeneas and will show the literary lineage that follows him through the legendary Romulus. The presentation will also compare these literary stories with the archaeological records of the seven hills of Rome.

H642: The Tale of the Mighty Minotaur in Splash Fall 2020 (Oct. 31, 2020)
This brief course will not only tell the myth of the Minotaur, but will go over the story's history and origin, all the way back to the confusing labyrinthian look of the Minoan palace of Knossus on the island of Crete.
