Brief Biographical Sketch:
Hello! I'm Neel, a second-year student studying Physics and Mathematics. I love teaching and much of what I've spent my time on in the past has been centered around science communication. I'm really excited to put together an engaging, insightful class for all my students. When I'm not working, you can find me out on my cycle exploring new areas. Looking forward to seeing you at Splash! Past Classes(Clicking a class title will bring you to the course's section of the corresponding course catalog)M1375: Numbers! in Splash Fall 2024 (Nov. 16, 2024)
At first glance, numbers are boring - they are just the things we count, in an increasingly greater level of sophistication. But what $$is$$ a number? In this course, we'll explore the immense depth of the most basic objects of Mathematics, discovering how that initial impression could not be further from the truth.
S1164: Quantum Mechanics! in Splash Fall 2023 (Nov. 18, 2023)
Quantum Mechanics. A strange, mysterious world, that sometimes does things almost beyond belief. Or at least that's what we're told.
But what is it telling us really?
In this course, we will embark on a journey into the heart of modern Physics, developing ideas piece-by-piece, and covering related topics such as tunnelling and entanglement.
S1097: Black Holes! in Splash Spring 2023 (Apr. 23, 2023)
Black Holes are the star-eating monsters we all know, and love.
But what $$is$$ a Black Hole?
In this course, we shall embark on an exciting journey, delving deep into the Physics behind Black Holes. Building up our knowledge piece-by-piece, we will also unravel the mysteries behind related topics such as gravity and wormholes, ending with an overview of Black Hole research today.
