Brief Biographical Sketch:
I'm a second year at UC Berkeley pursuing Computer Science and Pure Mathematics. Currently, I am working on research with Doug Tygar that aims to develop machine learning systems that are robust to adversarial attacks. Last summer, I worked on machine learning systems at Amazon. Past Classes(Clicking a class title will bring you to the course's section of the corresponding course catalog)M447: How to trick Skynet in Splash Fall 18 (Nov. 04, 2018)
Machine learning is rapidly changing the world around us and some people fear the rise of sentient machines. Fortunately, even state of the art systems aren't that hard to trick.
This class will serve as an introduction to machine learning classifiers, how they work, and how to fool them.
Calculus and linear algebra will be useful but not necessary. No prior exposure to computer science required.
