Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a UC Berkeley undergraduate majoring in Bio-Medical Ethics under the Interdisciplinary Studies Field Department. My senior thesis is about understanding the societal impact of using coercion to enforce pediatric healthcare decisions. I currently work as a Research Assistant for an NSF-funded project in the UC Berkeley School of Public Health analyzing the inter-workings of Institutional Review Boards. Formerly, I've been a part of the TED/TEDx community for over 3 years, licensing/organizing, mentoring, curating, and helping TEDx/TEDxYouth events throughout Southern California. I've also founded and managed two high school programs in Speech/Debate and Robotics that have gone to compete in State & National tournaments. I am an avid debater and writer who enjoys having fascinating conversations with individuals about their passions and helping them present it in the most effective way.

My most recent involvements and projects include initiating a large deCal course called "Faith & Reasons" (faithandreasons.com) bringing together several faculty members and speakers from various disciplines to dialogue about metaphysical questions as it relates to their academic fields with students and the entire Berkeley community.
